Sharra has spent more than twenty years leading people in healthcare, learning most of what she knows about leadership the same way many leaders do, by doing the work, getting some things right, getting some things wrong, and paying attention to what each experience taught her.
Her career has been built in the day-to-day realities of leadership. Difficult conversations, staffing challenges, developing people, making decisions under pressure, celebrating growth, navigating change, and trying to lead people well even on the days when leadership feels anything but simple. Over time, she became especially passionate about recognizing potential in people, creating opportunities for them to grow, building stronger teams, and creating the kind of culture where people know their work matters and they matter too.
Her leadership philosophy is simple, CONNECT people to purpose, make sure they know their VALUE, give them CLARITY, IGNITE their potential, and LEAVE them BETTER than you found them.
The Culture Prescription grew from that philosophy and from the people, mistakes, hard conversations, unexpected lessons, and full-circle moments that shaped the leader she continues to become. She does not believe leadership is about having all the answers. She believes it is about staying willing to learn, being honest about what experience teaches us, and using what we learn to help the people around us grow.
Because no matter how long we have been leading, there is always something left to learn, and usually someone around us who can teach us.
Better Leaders. Stronger Teams. Cultures That Last.™
